Getting to Whitehaven
For many, Whitehaven appears to be off the beaten track, so they tend to ignore the town when visiting the western lake district. The town is approximately 50 minutes away (by road) from Penrith, and should be on your itinery when visiting the county. Whitehaven is also served by
